Agham is the only Filipino online science magazine for students and by students. It not only aims to inform and entertain its readers, it also aims to fuel their interest in the sciences. This UNESCO-funded magazine was conceived after UNESCO asked the Science Education Institute (SEI) of the Department of Science and Technology to coordinate the solicitation of proposals for UNESCO’s Science Promotion Project. The proposal by DOST’s Advanced Science and Technology Institute to publish an interactive science magazine for students got SEI’s nod. SEI will be distributing print and diskette versions of Agham to high schools that do not have access to computers or the Internet.
